Our 2-Pole Terminal Block for New Energy Vehicle Chargers.
Dazhe’s China 2 Pole EV Charger Terminal Block for new energy vehicle chargers is a key component used to connect wires in the charger. It enables safe and stable electrical connection between the power supply and the vehicle battery, ensuring secure and steady current transmission.
1.Screw terminal block: Wires are fixed by tightening screws. It features firm connection, resistance to loosening, and easy maintenance and wire replacement, suitable for connecting wires of various diameters.
2.Plug-in terminal block: Characterized by easy plugging and unplugging, it is usually applied in scenarios requiring frequent connection and disconnection (e.g., connection between the movable and fixed parts of charging piles), which can improve work efficiency and reduce maintenance time.
3.Crimp terminal block: Wires are crimped onto the terminal block using crimping tools. It provides reliable connection and excellent conductivity, capable of withstanding large currents, and is commonly used in high-current charging systems.
1.Current-carrying capacity: Terminal blocks of different specifications have varying current-carrying capacities. Under natural cooling conditions, they can bear 75A–500A; with cooling systems, the capacity can reach up to 3000A. For example, Top-Link’s dual-hole torsion spring terminals: the 6.0 model supports 100A–180A, while the 16.0 model handles 500A–610A.
2.Voltage rating: Most terminal blocks meet the voltage requirements of new energy vehicle charging systems, with common specifications suitable for AC 220V or DC several hundred volts.
1.Contact resistance: To minimize energy loss and heat generation, the contact resistance is required to be low. For instance, the initial contact resistance of Top-Link’s products is ≤ 0.5mΩ, with a post-life-test change rate of less than 20%.
2.Mechanical life: Referring to the number of plugging cycles a terminal block can withstand under normal service conditions, it generally ranges from 5,000 to 20,000 insertions and withdrawals.
3.Protection rating: Designed for safe operation in diverse environments, some Top-Link terminal blocks achieve IP55 protection after mating, effectively preventing dust ingress and water spraying.
1.AC charging piles: Used to connect the AC charging circuit between the power grid and the vehicle, transmitting 220V or 380V alternating current to the vehicle’s on-board charger for battery charging.
2.DC charging piles: In DC fast charging systems, two-pole terminal blocks connect the DC output of charging piles to the vehicle’s DC charging port, delivering high voltage and large current to quickly charge the vehicle battery.
