Dazhe’s China HDG Hex Washer Head Self Drilling Screw is a high-efficiency fastening connector integrated with a drill bit, a hexagonal head, and a built-in washer.

Structural Features

1.The hexagonal head allows tightening with a wrench or socket, delivering sufficient torque for secure fastening.

2.The washer, located beneath the head, expands the force-bearing area, disperses pressure, prevents damage to the surface of connected materials, and provides moderate anti-loosening performance.

3.The self-drilling tail (usually pointed or flat) enables direct drilling and tapping on materials without pre-drilling holes.

Materials & Surface Treatment

Two main material options are available: carbon steel and stainless steel.

1.Carbon steel screws

1).Made of 1022A steel as standard.

2).Features high surface hardness after heat treatment and low cost, but is prone to rust with ordinary surface treatment.

2.Stainless steel screws

1).Common grades: 410 and 304 stainless steel.

2).410 grade supports heat treatment and offers better corrosion resistance than carbon steel.

3).304 grade provides excellent rust resistance, but has lower hardness and higher cost.

Installation Tools

Typically installed with a pistol drill equipped with a dedicated socket. A pistol drill with a torque limiter can prevent thread slipping.
